SharonKingWorldWide September Newsletter A New Month, A Fresh Start

Hello My Beautiful Special Needs Community,

September is here a month of new beginnings, fresh opportunities, and growth. Just like the changing seasons remind us of renewal, this month gives us a chance to reset, refocus, and embrace the blessings around us. For our special needs community, it’s a powerful reminder that every child, every parent, and every advocate deserves encouragement, support, and inspiration on their journey.

Special Needs Awareness in September

This month holds a few important awareness dates we want to honor:

  • National ADHD Awareness Month (September–October transition) – While officially recognized in October, advocacy and preparation begin in September. This is a great time to educate and share resources on ADHD, uplifting children and families living with this condition.

  • National Suicide Prevention Month – September calls us to prioritize mental health, wellness, and open conversations especially in the special needs community where children and parents sometimes feel isolated.

  • National Child Awareness Month – A time to highlight the needs of children everywhere, advocating for resources, equality, and opportunities for those with special needs.

  • Deaf Awareness Month (International) – September also holds recognition for the Deaf community, reminding us to embrace inclusivity and communication access.

These observances remind us that awareness and advocacy are not just for a single day or month, but every single day we uplift our children and stand for their futures.

A Message of Encouragement

To every parent raising a child with special needs, to every caregiver showing up daily, and to every advocate using their voice remember: you are seen, you are valued, and you are making a difference. Progress may not always look the same for everyone, but every step forward is a victory worth celebrating.

Closing Thoughts:

What’s Coming Next

At SharonKingWorldWide, we’re excited to continue building spaces of empowerment through upcoming events, newsletters, and resources. Stay tuned as we prepare for our end-of-year announcements, including opportunities for engagement, giveaways, and ways to support our community.

Together, let’s embrace September with strength, gratitude, and love.

With Love, Gratitude and Appreciation,
